Our union, UAW, is one of the plaintiffs in a case filed in federal court challenging NIH grant cancellations. Last month, a judge issued an initial ruling that these cancellations were illegal. To ensure you are covered by this ruling, it’s critical that you fill out this form by Friday, July 11th if you have been affected by NIH grant cancellations.
This case is seeking to reverse the termination of individual grants/fellowships (including R01, K99/R00, F31, F32 and T32), the termination of grant programs (such as IRACDA or PREP), and grant applications that were delayed without answer or administratively withdrawn by NIH. It is possible that when delivering a ruling, the judge in our case may only act on grants/applications that are reported by the plaintiffs, so if you have been impacted, it’s critical that you fill out this form.
