Our international union, UAW, is one of the plaintiffs in a case filed in federal court by the ACLU that is challenging NIH grant cancellations. If you have been impacted by NIH grant cancellations, please fill out this form by Wednesday, June 11.

Through this case, UAW international is working with the ACLU to reverse the termination of NIH grants (both termination of individual grants/fellowships (including R01, K99/R00, F31, F32 and T32)  and termination of grant programs, such as IRACDA or PREP) or grant applications that were delayed without answer or administratively withdrawn by NIH. It is possible that the judge may only act on grants/applications that are reported by the plaintiffs, so if you have been impacted, it’s really important that you fill out this form.

The attorneys have filed a protective order in this case and personally identifying information will be confidential and not released publicly. Here is an FAQ prepared by the attorneys.
